snow is so, like, a four-letter word

In obedience to the powers that be (who happen to know a little about my driving abilities), I am home instead of at the super-wonderful OBCLAA Board meeting.

My driving abilities are considered adequate for high visibility and dry asphalt, but slightly less so come snow-drift driving fast, sleet, or hail, or levin blast. And that is, reportedly, what might, possibly, potentially be gracing I-5 over the Grapevine.

Alas. ::sigh::

I wonder how many other people in the world are wishing they were in Fresno.
