Why is it that what I need to do (e.g., study) never sounds as attractive as what I don't need to be doing right now (e.g., finding a new book to read or reading blogs that are three links away from anybody I know)?
Or, even more puzzling, why is the subject I really need to study never as attractive as the subject I'm already ahead in?
I think this is probably proof that I'm human. Which is good, but not especially helpful.
