why I need to write a novel

Because I overhear statements like this (overheard last night at a community college orchestral concert):

"Madeline's trying to live a normal life . . . in spite of her . . . challenge. And until she wears herself out, she'll continue to do this."

How can one help but wonder? Who's Madeline? What's her "...challenge"? What is she continuing to do???

Now, for the hard part -- writing the concert report for Music 100.

I don't think speculations on the lives of the friends of the ladies behind me will count.

Bummer.

I can't imagine this is an original thought, but your cluster map looks like it has chicken pox. I'm jealous.

That's better than my thought. Reminded me of bedbug bites.
