Hmmm... Yeah, that sounds like an accurate account of the situation. In fact, anonymity is probably the most entertaining thing about the internet: we can slink around in the shadows and engage in otherwise dangerous activities without fear of discovery. Until people start tracking IP addresses, anyway. Then again, that's what proxies are for... though if you're using a proxy to write anonymous letters to people on the internet, you're probably giving yourself away to anyone who would have reasons to suspect you. After all, people who are oblivious to stalker-like behaviour aren't really worth stalking. (No, not even pretend-stalking.)
