17!

No. 3 is 17 today!!!

Happy birthday to my friend, classmate, church-buddy, musical inspiration, court jester, partner in crime, and sister.

In honor of No. 3's birthday, here is an illustrated story I have been saving since the day we went to the Getty Villa for a field trip with our college speech class (I forget when, exactly; November or something).

We were in a gallery of artistic depictions of ancient women, and found this depiction of two women whispering:

Naturally, we found it fitting to take a picture of ourselves and these ancient women, showcasing the obvious similarities between the two pairs.

Unfortunately, (1) our photography skills aren't really worth beans, and (2) the security guard guy was patrolling our area (important note: what we were doing was NOT illegal, as the picture was taken without flash in a photo-ok location; but who really wants to be doing this [see below] with a security guard watching?).

So this is what we came up with:

A striking similarity, no?
