This morning in geography class we watched a boring video about migration and language (I know that it shouldn't have been boring, theoretically, but it was all speculation and Mary Leakey and sometimes Mary Leakey speculating, so I wasn't as rapt as I otherwise might have been).
Anyhow, I took the opportunity to write what seems to be a pretty decent song (the biggest problem I have with it so far is that it's in triple meter, which is good if you want a song to be dancelike, but not-so-good if you don't).
The point of this post is to reconsider what could be inspiring. And to decry the use of the word "inspiring" for things that are not. And to encourage its use for things that might not otherwise be thought so.
Like in-class videos about prehistoric African migrations.
