I think I'm gonna be sad / I think it's today.......yeah!

Really there is no reason for this post, except that today while I was driving between home, church, and Aura-lee's, I had in our Beatles 1 CD, and that's a good line (btw, without knowing the whole story, I think I would counsel the girl with the ticket to go ahead and ride).

But while I'm at it, I will take the opportunity to schedule a moment of sadness, lament, and complaint for the travails of women's shopping the likes of which are not and never have been suffered by men.

So . . .

- Ergh! for being able to purchase clothing by measurements that make sense, like neck width, arm length, and inseam.
- Ergh! for having pretty much one thing to choose from for dress clothes (shoes included), meaning that it takes hardly any effort at all to find an outfit that (1) fits the occasion, (2) matches itself, and (3) looks sharp.
- Ergh! for racks and racks of swim trunks in all different colors (with pockets!!!)that are comfortable and are actually respectable items of clothing suitable to be worn in public.

Um, I think that's all now. Thanks for reading.

Your exclamations confuse me, but if I'm reading this correctly then it seems obvious that you've never had to find a man's shirt that actually fits a real man. (As opposed to a theoretical shirt that fits a hypothetical man.)
Shoes are even worse.

And then, when you do find the shirt that actually fits, your wife/mother/girlfriend will decide to wash it for you, and it will never fit the same again...
