No. 6 just came in to tell me about her day yesterday, mostly the fun she had at a friend's swimming pool.
"I met a boy named Nick."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, but that was only his nickname. His real name is Nicholas."
She didn't seem to think it was funny at all.

Em. Now i am completely confused in my ethics class. I'll have to talk to you about it tomorrow but I'm frustrated. I think I am an objectivist because problems or statements don't depend on my belief or feelings in them, they are there no matter what. So like let me state "God exists." Well no matter what I believe the question or issue will still be out there with a truth or no truth... see what I mean. Ugh.. we need to talk.
Hi Jourdan. I agree that we should talk. This morning I was trying to think of some books/resources I can point you to that'll help explain what the teacher is talking about and what it means to be an objectivist -- and a Christian. I'll try to get something put together by tomorrow night.
Thanks Emily. I kind of get it now but he pulled something on us in class today. He said that there is an objective relativist. That they are leniant or able to make exceptions with cerain situations. EX: There is a guy dying and sticking a pen tube in his throat will help get air to his lungs. So they will assume that it is okay to do that, even though naturally it wouldn't be okay to do such things. But I was like, well doesn't that involve feelings? Like you are like oh no he's dying we need to save him would be an opinion based on feeling. That would be objectivist or cultural relativist? But I'll talk with you tomorrow.
