data entry until the cows come home

There is so much data entry to do for my debate league job, it's crazy. C-R-A-Z-Y. My co-worker (can you have "co-workers" in a virtual office?) described it as "a flood." A flood indeed.

I like data entry, because it's just enough work to be able to work fast and accurately while still thinking and solving other problems in my head (kind of like crochet, except at the end I get a paycheck instead of an afghan).
But I think I'm going to need glasses at the end of this, just from staring at the computer screen so long.

On an utterly different topic--I found a posting of yours from last year while googling Bernard Symancyk--why on earth, I've wondered for 40 years, did he illustrate cosmic evil on the cover of That Hideous Strength with a picture of a chimney-pot by Antoni Gaudi? Was he even more paranoid about all 20th-century art than Lewis was, I wonder?
