iSee

Last night I finally joined the twenty-first century and downloaded iTunes.

Wow.

I am pleased.

Things are over between us, Wal-Mart Music Downloads.

now you need to network. find friends who have iTunes, bring them a dvd, have them burn their library onto dvd, and then upload it into your library. this is how i got my library up to about 3,000 songs.

That sounds a little illegal. But I'm more than happy to build my music collection with $9.99 albums.

Noooooo!
Not iTunes! Anything but iTunes! Even windows media player... (foobar2000 is still king of the hill.)
You're dead to me, MLE.
(Glad you're enjoying it, and that the e-commerce thing has eased your conscience.)

Eased my conscience? I'm confused.

Well, why else would you pay that much for an album?
It's not like the artists ever see any of the money we give to record companies... And now that we're "buying" music in the form of electronic impulses transmitted over wires, it's not like there are any goods that we actually receive... I suppose that you could consider it a payment for a service, but then there are the competing service providers to take into account...
Sorry, I don't want to get into an argument about IP law or anything...
