California ate my birthday

As if it isn't bad enough that today is get-married-gays-and-lesbians-day in the Golden State, our happy birthday frolic at Corona Del Mar was defrolicked by two women wearing walkie-talkies and navy and white uniforms, shooing children from the tide pools (except for "dry rocks") in order to protect tiny marine animals.

What in the world???

Who goes to the tide pools to be pulled over and told "Please, ladies, read the sign and then proceed."

Who???

This, my fellow Californians, is our tax dollars at work . . . sanctioning perverts and chasing inquisitive little minds away from intriguing marine life.

Grrrrrrrrrrr.
