Fun on a Wednesday morning = listening to my mom argue in Spanish with the tree trimmers that the county sent out this morning.
I think the OC hates trees.

I was just telling my ninth grade class (in the midst of studying how plant roots can alter the earth's surface) about when I was a kid and the city uprooted the beautiful, huge oak trees that lined our street like a canopy. Saddest day of my seventh year of life...
Orange County doesn't have enough trees as it is. I don't know why they have to cut them down. Here I go, saving paper all over the place, trying to save trees and end global warming, while my parents' taxes go for chainsaw crews to trim our very own trees to death.

I feel your pain. :(

I love the elm tree lined streets of your neighborhood! The OC would definitely be better off with more greenery and less stucco.
