now that'll keep you up nights

By today at about 5:00 p.m, I had come to respect my professors from the HCom department not as dogmatic, die-hard liberals, but as profoundly confused people, generally more open-minded (at least in class) than their students, just not far ahead of said students in critical thinking skills.

Then, at about 5:45, my professor remarked, "I hope he [Obama, of course] gives Hillary -- er, Senator Clinton -- a place in the administration. . . . . I hope he puts her on the Supreme Court."

I HAD NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE.

No, no, no, no, no. That would be wrong for so many reasons.

Not sure where this leaves my former conclusion.
