anticipatory homesickness

One of my plans for the summer was to go abroad and study Spanish in total immersion.

But every time I try to do something about the plan, I get homesick and can't bear the thought of going away for a month.

Needless to say, my plans haven't been getting anywhere. Not sure what to think.

I need to start praying for a local immersion-like opportunity.
