the chickens have it

This year (for the fifth[?] year now) I've been asked to give the "challenge to the graduates" at the senior banquet for my family's homeschool group. It's tonight.

Every year I poll people (whoever happens to be at hand) to ask what they would say to a group of high school grads. A lot of people say something positive like "congratulations!" or "good job!"

It's good for me to hear that perspective, because that never really occurred to me. I just figure that a challenge should be hard.

So just now I sat down to type out some notes for this year's challenge. Fishing for themes, I pulled up "confidence." And fishing for confidence on Google Images, I pulled up this gem:
