Well, here we are in a hotel lobby in England, where I am giving thanks for my blog. I forgot my Tower of London Ceremony of the Keys ticket at home and just had to print it off from a March blog entry.
How sad is that.
For all who were worried, though, Paul (trip coordinator) just walked in off an airplane and said all should be well at the Tower. If not, well, I'll still have it better off than a lot of 'visitors' there in times past.
More thoughts on London soon (when I can beg computer and free broadband access off someone else and stop using this pay-per-use hotel computer [the one connected to the printer that I needed to use because . . . yeah]), but, for starters, the number of cultures/languages represented here -- anywhere in the city that we've been -- is incredible. (!!!)
I feel so inadequate hablando only English and a tiny bit of Spanish. It's the best I can do to play 'guess the language,' and even then I'll bet I'm wrong. (haha, no double quotation marks on this keyboard)
'Til later . . .
