chapter 18: Zurich . . . and the bus

Wednesday was a day not rich in photo ops. We did a lot of riding in the bus.

We did stop in Constance at the Hussenstein -- the memorial at the place where
John Huss was burned at the stake -- pictured below. (I tried to find a good weblink for this site, but everything that mentions it is in German.)

And we did stop at Zwingli's church in Zurich, just in time for what was by all accounts (well, by the Dean's account) a very interesting 20th anniversary memorial service for the victims of Chernobyl that was mostly a celebration of humanity, love, and good feelings. Not quite Zwingli's style.

So, given that things are slow pictorially, I thought I'd more thoroughly introduce you to the bus.

I kind of miss the bus.

Now that I think about it, it's funny how much time we spent taking pictures of ourselves and then looking at them. You'd think we were tourists or something.

Then again, we'd be doing the same thing at home.

I guess some of us are doing it right now . . .

You kind of miss the bus? Funny. Hey, you didn't mention the restroom situation at said Lutheran church.

I did not personally witness the restroom situation (was much too busy trying not to let my soggy umbrella drip on the wood floor). I think I'll let the eyewitnesses do the talking on that one.

LOL, I just got that.

Punny, aren't I?
