I find myself almost eager to leave home just for the sake of coming back again.
Is there a better feeling on earth than coming HOME?
It seems like the more I travel lately, the sweeter it is to come home. You'd think that compared to the Baron's castle or that weekend in the Alps or drives with my sister through the green lushness that is Loudon County, Virginia, the smoggy desert of Southern California would look pretty drab.
Not so.
The contrast just serves to make home home-ier. (Look! It's our smog! It's our desert! It's our ugly billboards on the 405 coming home! Home!)
So, only a month left before I come home. Yippee!
