to the "others"

I was going to comment back to Anonymous (see infra), but good poetry deserves its own post.

On Usage and Divinity
for Anonymous

In usage
(As in other things)
I journey on a quest for truth;
And when at length
That truth is found,
I use it to my ego soothe.

So, looking down
From heights divine,
Pronouncing "errs" that rhyme with "furs,"
I will on those
Forgiveness shine
Whose conduct elsewise merits slurs.

Pronounciation is an art;
And with my heart I play the part. I won't be bound, by little rules, designed by men on little stools, with no reason and with no rhyme, my pronounciation is mine.

you should probably reformat that

I can only conclude that bad poetry does not deserve its own post.

Anonymous #2: It's "pronunciation."

W. Fredereck: You conclude correctly.

Ha ha very funny.

On another note, I really need to expand the readership of this blog. Or at least the commentership. How fun is it to play hostess to only anonymous people?
