This I post for no particular reason, except that I find the picture funny and the activity depicted puzzling. This is my sister, No. 2, in the lab today, goggled and coaxing flames from pipes.
Or something.
I'm so proud of my chemist sister for knowing and doing mysterious chemist-y things.

FIRE! I thought I was a pyromaniac until I took this test:http://www.armory.com/~spcecdt/pyrotech/pyrotest.html. Turns out I'm 90% Pyro Pure. Not sure I'm proud of that. I thought I was more exciting than that.
Ask your sister if they ever explode things at her lab. My sister's favourite duties when she was a research assistant were metal-water reactions (sodium, usually) and experiments on the phase changes of liquid-nitrogen inside various containers (pop-bottles mostly.)
She said it helped that the lab coordinator was a bit crazy.
(It's a good thing I didn't become a Chemist... Turns out I'm 30% pryromaniac.)
