In about another year she'll be starting to lose them. Life is funny that way.
I wonder what's the deep significance of losing your baby teeth.
In other news, today I explained to her how you get to have cousins (i.e., when siblings grow up and marry and start new families, their kids are cousins). She found this to be a wonderful truth, fit for repeating and curiously giggle-inspiring. She also remarked that the reciprocal nature of cousinhood (e.g., I am Caleb's cousin and he is, likewise, my cousin) is like the reciprocal nature of neighborhood (e.g., I am my neighbor's neighbor and he is my neighbor).
It was a kind of weird connection for a 4-year-old to make.
But I was impressed.

Kids are cute. :-)
By the way, very odd question from long ago, but what relation was the Dendrophile to you? I've forgotten now.
The dendrophile is my cousin. I need to check to see whether he still feels the same way about trees.
(He's 10 now! We are old!)
You make me wish I had a little sister.
Oh man, we are old...
