empathy

You know that feeling where you don't want to go to sleep because it's the end of vacation and you go back to regular life in the morning?

Vacation was good. Going back to the office will be good. But not just yet . . .

Oh, and another one. You know the feeling where you decide to be a good student and read ALL of the textbook, and then you take the midterm and the professor only tested off of his Powerpoint slides?

And then after that, you sit down in your computer chair at 11:20 and think, "I spent the last day of vacation with Freud and Marx? ??? I shouldda gone to get a hair cut."

Anybody know that feeling?
