When the hair grows long, the girl desires to cut it.

(I'm pretty sure that this is NOT because she always wanted to be a man and marry her mother. Sorry, Freud.)

For awhile there whenever Ella had scissors, her desire was to cut her hair. (Her bangs have FINALLY grown out!) I don't think she did that because she secretly wanted to marry me. That's 0 for 2 for Freud today.

It's probably not totally fair (especially since he never theorized about hair, that I know of), but I'm happy watching Freud lose points.
