Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
--Ephesians 4:29
Sometimes I wish a little flag with this verse on it would pop up to warn me before I open my mouth.
"Necessary edification" and imparting "grace" seems like a tall order.
What is worth saying?
What is Christian (Christian meaning Christ-like) speech?
And how often do I restrict myself to that which is "necessary"?
